How to Add Notes to a Contact or a Task

Notes are important to add to each of your contacts. This article will show you how to add one to your tasks or profiles.

When you add notes to your tasks or contacts, it helps you easily communicate with your contact and provide personalized service. Instead of trying to remember important information for your next interaction, using notes is a smarter way to go.



How to Add Notes to a Contact's Profile

1 - Select "More" then "Contacts" on the mobile app, 📱 or select "Contacts" from the web version. 💻

2 - Search for a contact to open their profile card.

3 - Scroll down to see "Additional Info".

4 - Select the Pencil Icon and start typing your notes.

5 - Select Add note to save it.

6 - Select Close and see that your note is now on the profile under Additional info.

Hot Tip: When you attach a note to the Profile, you will be able to see the note anytime you look in the general notes section of your contacts' profile card without having to search for the task. Example: "Sandra mentioned she is allergic to avocados."


How to Add Notes to a Task

1 - Select "More" then "Contacts" on the mobile app, 📱 or select "Contacts" from the web version. 💻

2 - Search for a contact to open their profile card.

3 - Select Activity.

4 - Select the task where you would like to add the note.

5 - Select the pen and paper icon and start typing your notes.

6 - Select Add note to save it.

7 - Select Close and see that your note is now on the task.

Hot Tip: When you attach a note to the Task, it won't appear anywhere except that specific task you completed. Example: "Sandra mentioned she wasn't free to chat today."
