This article will show you how to turn on Automatic App Updates on your mobile device.

It's always a good idea to keep your app updated to ensure you have the latest security and bug fixes. Having auto-updates turned on will keep you on the latest and greatest version of the app, without you having to do anything.


How to turn on automatic updates on your iPhone

1 - Go to Settings.

2 - Select App Store.

3 - Under Automatic Downloads, turn on App Updates.


How to turn on automatic updates on your Android

1 - Open the Google Play Store app.

2 - At the top right, select the profile icon.

3 - Select Settings.

4 - Select Network Preferences.

5 - Select Auto-update apps.

Select an option:

Over any network update apps using either Wi-Fi or mobile data.

Over Wi-Fi only to update apps only when connected to Wi-Fi.

Note: If an account on your device has a sign-in error, apps may not update automatically.
