How to Convert an MS Excel File to .CSV for Contact Uploading?

In this article, we'll show you how to convert MS Excel file format to .CSV so you can upload your contacts to PULSE by Penny.

In order to upload contacts to PULSE by Penny via spreadsheet, the file format must be in .csv -- here are the steps to do so from an MS Excel File.

Hot Tip: The spreadsheet column headers must match the same as our sample spreadsheet. A sample spreadsheet can be downloaded by going to "Contacts" and then "Import Spreadsheet"


Converting an MS Excel file to .CSV:

1 - Open your MS Excel file

2 - Select File

3 - Select Save As from the dropdown menu

4- Select Browse to choose where you want to save your file.

5- Select "CSV" from the "Save as type" drop-down menu.

6 - Select Save
